Collection for Every Third Saturday

What We Do

On the 3rd Sunday of each month, we collect clothing and hygiene items for veterans. Donations are given to Every Third Saturday, an organization near the Veterans Hospital that provides counseling and a coffee shop for veterans.

CLOTHING & ITEMS - Gently used is acceptable (except for socks and underwear)

  • Jeans (waist sizes 30–50)

  • Shirts

  • Shoes (athletic and regular)

  • Men’s shirts (2XL–5XL)

  • Backpacks, duffel bags or reusable shopping bags

  • Bath towels

  • Sheets (twin, full, or queen)

  • Sewing kits

  • New socks for diabetics

  • New boxer shorts

  • New women’s briefs (sizes M/6–XL/8)

HYGIENE - Must be new

  • Shaving cream

  • Shampoo & conditioner

  • Peroxide

  • Cotton swabs (e.g. Q-tips)

  • Hand soap

  • Mouthwash

  • Lip balm

  • Baby wipes

  • Tissues

  • Toilet paper

  • Paper towels

  • Laundry detergent

  • Muscle rub (e.g. Icy Hot)

  • Hand lotion

  • Deodorant or antiperspirant

  • Foot and body powder
