Enkindling the Fire

After eight months of reflection, analysis and prayer, our Parish Pastoral Plan, Enkindle the Fire, is complete! We are excited to share this plan with you and all the hopes, dreams, and opportunities that come with it. We are excited to see how its implementation transforms our parish over the coming years.

Fuel Relationships

Our goal is for parishioners, school families, and staff to grow in deeper relationships with one another. We want to create a mindshift from individuals and separate groups to WE are Holy Spirit. To accomplish this, we will create a Hospitality Committee to organize ways our parish gathers socially, welcome new families and parishioners, and build the relationships between our church and school.

Grow Our School

Our goal is to fill our Preschool classrooms to capacity and grow to two sections in each grade level, K–8. To accomplish this, we recently hired a marketing and enrollment specialist. We will also enhance our marketing committee, develop and implement a robust marketing plan, determine the best classroom size for strategic growth, and work to diversify our revenue streams.

Deepen Prayer & Sacramental Devotion

Our goal is to increase the desire for prayer among all parishioners and school families and to deepen sacramental devotion within our community. To accomplish this, we will sustain and support small groups, create annual retreat opportunities, increase adoration opportunities, and host events that help people grow in prayer and sacramental devotion.

Increase Neighborhood Engagement and Outreach

Our goal is to be welcoming and active in our community as we improve parish visibility within our neighborhood. We desire to both open our doors to the community as well as go out into the community to love and serve our neighbor. To accomplish this, our hospitality committee will create and implement a parish neighborhood engagement plan. We will also increase engagement through school activities.
