Monday, July 31 will be the start date of our church entryway project. Many of the surrounding steps and entryways need repair. The project will include replacing steps at the Albert Street entrance in addition to repairing other entrances. The first part of the project will repair the damaged sidewalk, railings, and steps adjacent to the east parking lot.
Concurrently, Holy Spirit’s south parking lot will be blocked to through traffic from Albert Street and the east parking lot as Cretin-Derham Hall will be repaving their parking lot through Aug. 7.

Please join us in welcoming Maureen Owusu to the Holy Spirit staff! Maureen is a Holy Spirit parishioner and joins us from St. John the Baptist in New Brighton. She brings a wealth of experience to this newly created position. We look forward to working with her and wish her the best as she assumes accountant/bookkeeper responsibilities for both the parish and school.

Parish & School Staff Updates
First off, Ashley de los Reyes, our current communications coordinator, has accepted a new role for our parish and school. Starting July 1, she will be the Director of Operations and Communications. In part, this shift is a recognition of the amazing work Ashley does every day to support the operations of our parish and school. With this new role she will also be taking on the responsibility of coordinating our safe environment procedures. This shift opens the possibility of hiring a Marketing and Enrollment Coordinator for the school as well. If you know anyone who may be interested in this role, please reach out to Dr. Krieger.
Secondly, Christopher Menzhuber, our current Faith Formation Director and middle school religion teacher, has decided to step down from his Faith Formation role to devote all his time to teaching. Christopher has been an incredible Faith Formation Director and has served our parish well over the last 15 years but is excited to make this shift to full-time teaching. We are grateful for Christopher for all the ways he has served our community. Due to this shift, we are hiring a Director of Evangelization and Catechesis who will focus on continuing the great work that Christopher has been doing and providing additional opportunities for members of our community of all ages to grow in their faith. If you know anyone who may be interested in this role, please reach out to Fr. Nathan.
