My Very Own Bed

What We Do

My Very Own Bed provides new beds and bedding to the children of families who have recently secured stable housing. Holy Spirit ties fleece blankets and assembles bed frames.

At our event on Sept. 21, nearly 40 adult and children blankets were donated. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Upcoming

On Wednesday, Apr. 23 6–10 volunteers are needed to assemble beds on site from 10 a.m.–Noon. Each frame is assembled from a kit. Frames are then stored in a warehouse until the beds are delivered. We’ll work with light tools such as drills, rubber mallets, and box cutters. If you’d like to volunteer, email Michelle Lynch.
