Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to building and improving places to call home. Each summer, Holy Spirit joins local faith communities in building and repairing homes for families and individuals in need.

Summer Recap

As part of Interfaith Builders, Holy Spirit volunteers worked on a week of construction at the Habitat for Humanity Pope Leo Village. The last week of July was a hot one, but we persevered and installed the interior first floor wall frames for twin units, insulated exterior walls and the foundation, and erected scaffolding around both homes. In total, thirteen volunteers contributed 18 days of work! Volunteers also provided lunch to volunteers and staff on July 31. Thank you for your participation and support.
