Liturgy Options & Fees

Church Liturgy: $450
If working with a funeral home, the funeral home will collect the fee. The funeral home staff is responsible for transporting and securing the remains of the deceased before, during, and after the liturgy.

The funeral home staff must be in attendance during the visitation and is responsible for:

  • arranging flowers

  • seating and dismissing guests

Independent Liturgy: $600
If working with the church only, the check should be made out to Church of the Holy Spirit and given directly to Father Hastings. The family is responsible for transporting and securing the remains of the deceased before, during, and after the liturgy.

A Holy Spirit staff person will be in the church from 10:30 a.m.–noon to offer support with:

  • placement of the deceased

  • arranging flowers

  • seating and dismissing guests.

Liturgies include:

  • Organist/pianist

  • Soloist/Cantor

FLOWER DELIVERIES

Flowers should be delivered to the parish office at 515 Albert Street South Saint Paul, MN 55116. The parish office hours are 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday.

ALL SOULS’ DAY REMEMBRANCE

Each year, the Church of the Holy Spirit holds a Remembrance Mass on All Souls’ Day (Nov. 2) for the families who have lost loved ones throughout the previous year. A Mass will be said for the deceased during the month of November and their name will be placed in Holy Spirit’s Book of Remembrance.
